Zach came to our home and sat down with myself and my wife and explained in detail what the selling process would look like.
He spent a great deal of time making sure we had a great understanding of this. He walked us through how to make our home appealing to potential buyers and the things we needed to do that would matter most. We received an offer within the first day of putting our home in the market. This is when his work really started. Zach handled every obstacle the buyers threw at us so well that it looked easy. Every time I called him he either picked up the phone or got back with me almost immediately. His knowledge of his craft 100% is why we were able to get the deal completed. When I worked with Zach, I was in the midst of all 3. Zach's empathy - easily one of his best attributes, made the house buying experience (my first), the softest landing of the 3. I wasn't able to view all the houses because traveling from NYC to IN every weekend wasn't feasible. However, after several chats, then our first meeting, followed by tours of several houses, Zach quickly understood what mattered to me. Grasping what were non-negotiables, as well as aspects I was open to compromise - adding our ability to be extremely frank with each other, no matter the context or content, made putting my trust in Zach to view homes without me present uncomplicated. Throughout it all - he was very responsive by text, understood what situation I wanted to be in now, as well as where I wanted to be in 5 years - accommodating those nuances when discussing possible locations. The purchase process was easy - which might not say much, but when issues came up after the formal closing - Zach became a passionate mouthpiece on my behalf for resolving lingering concerns. I don't know what other realtors are like to work with (again, first time buyer), but I do know that Zach has set the bar extremely high from what I would expect from one.
